Tutor Verification
Every tutor on Tudius goes through a verification process. Higher tiers mean more checks have been completed. Here's what each level means.
Tier 1
Profile Complete
Tutor has filled out their profile with subjects, rates, and availability.
- Profile photo uploaded
- At least one subject listed
- Rate and availability set
- Bio completed
Tier 2
Reviewed
Tutor profile has been manually reviewed by the Tudius team for accuracy and completeness.
- All Tier 1 requirements met
- Profile reviewed by Tudius staff
- Information verified for accuracy
- Active subscription
Tier 3
Verified
Tutor has completed identity verification and a criminal record check, approved by Tudius administration.
- All Tier 2 requirements met
- Government-issued ID submitted
- Criminal record check completed
- Admin approval granted
Verification tiers indicate the level of checks a tutor has completed. They are not a safety guarantee. Parents and students should always exercise their own judgment when selecting a tutor.
